We spend considerable time attempting to find a BYOB restaurant, with quality food, good service, able to meet special needs of a few in our party and located in the Vaudreuil area. Gerry and his team at the Charleville really exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable, Gerry was quite thorough explaining the menu and answering our questions, once the orders were in we were well looked after. The food was served hot, on time and it tasted great. No waiting,service was great!
Service très très long même si réservation de groupe. Frites arrivent moches 15 min après les moules. Pas assez de personnel sur le plancher et certains ont bien mauvaise humeur. Dommage, nous aimions la terrasse et apportez votre vin.
Lovely Terrace - French cuisine with option of 5 course gourmand meal. Ambiance and service was great. Duck foie gras was impeccable and delicious.
Like many others, I have to say that this was a very disappointing experience. The service took so long that it began to get uncomfortable. "Your table is yours for the night" is just a poor excuse for the lack of service and inability to properly serve the guests. It's an excruciatingly long night and I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I ever go back.
There is no meal that is worth a wait this long! The service is soooooo slooooow and loooooong. If you insist on torturing yourself by going to this restaurant i recommend you bring more than 1 bottle of wine to get you through. TERRIBLE is the only word for this night out.
Avoid at all costs! My new bride and I invited 20 of our closest friends and family to Le Charleville in celebration of our marriage. HUGE mistake! We waited more than 3 hours for the salads to be served and that came with an overdose of “it is normal to wait this long here". The owner and staff were unprofessional, confrontational and incompetent. I apologize to my guests once again and hope that we can soon get together in a more reputable venue.
This is a great restaurant! Bring your own wine and they Filet Mignon to die for! Highly suggested to anyone!
