My first impression of The Moose Winooskis was "Okay where is the Grand Pubba?" I guess if you watch the Flintstones this restaurant sort of resembles a water buffalo convention. The atmosphere is loud and has a log cabin wilderness feel. We ordered the ribs and wings platter which was cooked to perfection with lots of sauce on the wings. The service was a little slow trying to get refills on our beverages. The menu prices were a little expensive, our bill came to $65.00 with tax and tip. So if chewing down a moose burger and chugging down a brewski is what you crave, then throw on your water buffalo hat and head down to The Moose Winooskis!

The food here is excellent and sometimes almost too much to eat. There were two chicken caesar wraps in my order but one would have done me just fine. It was tasty and fresh. The soup was hot and hardy. I enjoyed a mug of draft beer with it and its cost was reasonable. I thought the service by our waitress was well above average. My companions were equally pleased with their meals.
The service was great! We were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. The server, Crystal, was the most pleasent little thing ever. She was polite and refilled our drinks without even asking. She was attentive to our food allergy, and ensured our meal was as requested. The manager, Aalim, was also around to visit which was nice to see. Not too many places have a manager present greeting tables. The environment is great and so is the food. I'll definately be returning.
The food was as good as any other restaurant. The service was decent but for some reason we had 2 server, way too much attention. It was hard to just enjoy ourselves without someone constantly in our faces.
