Trevor Day & Associates is a small team of five people; myself, two architectural technologists, a mechanical HVAC designer, and an office administrator. Everyone reports directly to me. We are an engineering and architectural design firm working mostly in residential construction. Our geographic market area is rural, eastern Ontario centered around the small town of Havelock. We do a variety of project types but a typical project would be to develop a design, and produce construction documents for a new house on a rural property. We also do many simple permit drawing sets for additions, renovations, decks, etc... It’s not all glamorous work but it pays the bills, and is steady and reliable. We do plenty of waterfront houses/cottages which involve site plan development and various planning permissions.
