We came here with friends about a year ago and partner remembers it as very delicious. I don't recall as well as her but I remember it was good enough. Came back this past weekend and I thought it was good once again but partner was less enthusiastic. She remembers the soft crab as being fabulously delectable and was a bit disappointed this time. The tea was very good. We'll go back when next in Guelph and the opportunity and time allows.

Best Chinese Food Ever

I have been going to Woks-Taste now for over 30 years. Although the generations have changed, and new faces serve the beautiful product, the food remains excellent. Amie is now in charge, and she goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. Our whole family now enjoys special occassions at Woks, and we will continue to enjoy the food and the beautiful people here for years to come.

Overated Restaurant with some good sparks

Went with roomate and split curry and fish and chips. The Fish batter was nice and cruchy however had no taste. The fish itself wasn't seasoned or the batter. The Curry was a little too spicy for me but had really good flavour and seasoning however the beef was like eating cardboard was grossly overcooked. The Guiness Chocolate Molton Cake was very good, didn't taste alot of Guiness not really sure if it's in there but a nice dessert.... would order that again. As well the coulis on the plate actually tasted like itense strawberry. Would go again but would stick with wings or something else...... The Fat Duck Ale is great as is the other beer they make.

When we moved to Guelph we had a very hard time finding good Chinese food until someone suggested Woks Taste thank God!

Has gone downhill after new mgmt

The place used to be my fav place for Chinese food. Price was cheap, food was excellent. Since the new management, food wasn't that great anymore. The guy that looks like a manager didn't know much about the food and lack service skills. Only good thing changed is now they have uniforms. Quite a disappointment from new management
