when we first got to the restaurant we were seated the waitress was friendly, and quick to get whatever we asked for. Once the food had arrived the eggs and omelette were perfect the bacon wasnt too cooked or under cooked. Everything was made just perfect. I've been to a lot of Italian Fine dining restaurants and this one in particular stood out to me. The food was very well cooked to my liking. The pasta itself was perfectly made and the sauces always compliment the dish! I had the Fusilli Rustica with Rose sauce. The service is phenomenal. Always friendly and they really know their dishes. The price is also VERY affordable compared to other restaurants. The ambiance suits the restaurant and it really is a beautiful place. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy !
I highly recommend this fine-dining restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either. Great catering for large parties, just make sure you call at least 24 hours ahead. We always get the Chicken dinner Plate and Steak dinner Plates served Buffet Style. And for the few die-hards, we'll get a couple orders of Chicken Fingers, fries and onion rings.
Otherwise, if you do order one Dinner plate....yes it will last you two lunches. Or one lunch and you fall asleep afterwards as there is so much food !

This place is an authentic Irish pub. Certainly a great place to order food and have a few pints in Port Credit. I've been coming here for years. In the last year they updated their menu. They have a killer openfaced steak sandwich with brie cheese. It's seriously to die for. Also their house salad dressings are pretty good as well. Wish they carried a few more local beers on their draft list, but you will not be disappointed with the selection. Also, great Halloween party every year.

Mandarin is a really excellent place to eat a buffet. They are really kind to you and free refills (water, coke). They give you these mint candy after your visit for free. If you tell them that it is your birthday, they give you a cake piece, sing the happy birthday song and a free picture. Also, they have decorations for you to enjoy and they keep the place very neat.
I like how they make food and name the food it’s specific name. The names also say if it is sugar-free, and if it is spicy. They have specific rooms that they assign you to eat and the sign tells you what room it is (Room A, Room b .etc.).
The employes are really nice and when you come in, they make you feel welcomed (unless if the lineup is really long and people have reservations). After you are done with your food, you can just leave your plate on your table. You can get a new plate with food on it so you do not have to use the same plate over and over again.
In conclusion, you should really go to Mandarin. It is a really excellent buffet to go to. It has crab legs right now and they are really expensive to buy at a store. They have a variety of foods and make their own combinations of foods which is really good.

-Free mints at the end

I've visited this location of Sunset Grill several times and have always received great service and delicious food. It gets pretty busy on weekends, so your best bet is to get there around 10 am if you need fast service.
The servers never rush you and coffee refills are frequent.
I would recommend this place for a casual, family breakfast.

Honestly, I would never write, but having had had almost the exact same meal as the reviewer who most recently posted, I could not resist from arguing the opposite! The pierogis were amaaaazing! JUICY and DELICATE and FULL of stuffing. And the price? Well, considering there are so many pierogis in one serving, and may I say, HOMEMADE pierogis, I feel that they are more than affordable. This leads me to my next point: the schnitzel. Again, a homemade, VEAL schnitzel- just melted in my mouth.... and even more so in my husband's mouth, considering he ordered it. And, in response to the other reviewer, the schnitzel is surely made of high quality veal! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner about it and she was sweet enough to tell us all the details about what it takes to prepare it. I'm telling you, it's just so difficult to find a great, healthy restaurant with homemade food in Toronto. I would recommend Amber to anyone looking for some good quality ingredients and great taste.
