When it comes to adult recreation opportunities in Vancouver, Urban Rec is the place to start, with an abundance of team options in a wide variety of sports – think beach volleyball, floor hockey, soccer, curling, basketball, flag football and even dodgeball. Catering to adults aged 19 to early 40s, Urban Rec offers plenty of co-ed options for picking up a favourite sport, learning a new activity or just meeting people and making new friends.
Originally known as “The Fun Club Volleyball Association,” TFC Volleyball has been serving up volleyball programs to adults since 1993. Choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor volleyball leagues, including women’s only and co-ed options, in locations all over Metro Vancouver.
Ready to run? The Pacific Road Runners recreational running club brings a social atmosphere and support to your running game. The Road Runners meet for training runs at 5:55 pm at the False Creek Community Centre on Granville Island every Tuesday and Thursday – rain, shine or snow. They also run races together throughout the year, and organize the annual ‘First Half’ half marathon every February.

With options for beginners and experienced archers, the Richmond Archery Club is the largest indoor archery range in Richmond and has trained instructors on-site to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Live your NHL dreams without quitting your day job – Ice 604 offers a competitive adult hockey league for beginners and intermediate players. With a tiered structure, the league groups players of similar skill levels together, so everyone is challenged. Games take place at rinks in Burnaby, North Vancouver and Coquitlam.
