Who We Are

Under the umbrella of Skills Compétences Canada, Skills Canada Yukon coordinates efforts with 12 other regional chapters in the country. Specifically in the Yukon we encourage, support, and promote skilled trades and technologies to youth and their communities throughout our beautiful territory.

Apprenticeship Information

What is the Territorial Skills Competition?

Annually we host the Yukon Territorial Skills Competition and qualifiers, bringing together Yukon’s students and apprentices to compete in diverse trade and technology areas. Winners are paired with mentors in their trade in order to master their craft and compete at national and international levels. There are up to 25 unique competition areas for you to choose from.
