Galerie Roccia specializes in sculptures and represents several Quebec artists, some of whom are renowned, while others are emerging artists who were able to catch the eye and the heart of the gallery owner.
Roccia is the Italian word for rock. This name evokes two things in Galerie Roccia owner Hélène Bélanger-Martin: it is a material used in sculpture, but she also sees a deeper, timeless aspect. "Rocks are keepers of history. They were here long before us and will remain long after. It is a concept that speaks to me," she says.
