The members of the Lethbridge Branch of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association (ARMTA) offer lessons in piano, voice, strings, organ, guitar, trombone, tuba, euphonium, theory, pedagogy, composition, accompanying, collaborative piano, Kelly Kirby Piano, and ear training. Teachers hold a degree or diploma from a recognized university or conservatory and meet the necessary qualifications set down by the provincial organization. The Lethbridge Branch organizes performing and learning events for its teachers and their students, and awards $1500 annually to students of its members for first-class honors marks in practical and theory exams.
